Fabric Storage, Oh my!

Image
Happy Thursday!  Lorrie here, and I am pondering how to store my ever growing stash of fabric.  I have been a papercrafter for years and set up my room as a papercrafter.  I started sewing just a few months ago and now I am struggling with what to do with all of the fabric, interfacing, trimmings, etc. that have already started to gather.  I turned to Pinterest for a few ideas.  I love this set up by All People Quilt .  The fabric is covered so that it doesn't collect dust and it is protected from getting sun bleached. or this idea from " Indulging My Creative Side" blog.  How gorgeous is this!  I would love to be able to see all of my fabric and have it organized like this beautiful set up. Or this image.  Wouldn't it be cute to make a card with 3 lemon slices going up the side or across the bottom (I know, these are blood oranges). This photo reminds me of that ne...

Do you organize by color?  When you're crafting do you think... "I need something blue"?  You might be a color organizer.  This photo is from a Cricut event I went to.  It's organized by color.  Color is how I think and how I organize. Maybe you're a organizer by product?  Perhaps you keep all of your acrylic paints in one bin, and all of your stickers in another, and all of your embellishments in another, etc.?  Organization for you may look something like this: Perhaps you are inspired by themes such as Halloween, Christmas, Summer, Floral, Stripes, Polka Dots, etc.  You might organize like this: There are so many ways to organize...
