Image
It's Tuesday and that means another recipe on the blog.  Today, I'm sharing one of my favorites desserts..... (Enter pumpkin dump cake). You have got to try this amazing recipe. It is ooey, it is gooey and it is ooooh so lovely. I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin pie. I mean I don't hate it, but I'd much rather have something a bit sweeter if I'm going to eat pie. Well this recipe is just that. It's pumpkin pie all sweetened up. Just look at it!!

Golden Grilled Hamsteaks

Easter is almost here and this is the perfect time for me to share our Go-To receipe for Easter Ham!  It is my family's favorite ham recipe, and it's oh so easy!! Golden Grilled Ham Steaks This is just the best ever recipe for ham steaks on the grill. We're doing it for Easter. Doug's sister cooked this for us a couple years ago and the kids (and I) went wild for it. It's the best ham I've ever had.. and I'm not even exaggerating! When you buy a ham, take it to the meat counter and ask the butcher to cut it into 1" steaks. Yes, I said 1". I bought a 1/2 a ham and he cut it into about 7 steaks.... it takes about 3 steaks to feed my family of 5 (if Doug and Rich are here). So I just freeze the rest and use them in the same way later. Golden Grilled Ham Steaks: Mix in a gallon ziplock bag: 1/2 Ham cut into 1" steaks.  (Note:  3 1" steaks feeds 4-5 people) 1 Cup Ginger Ale 1 Cup Orange Juice 1/2 C Firmly packed bro...

Breakfast Pizza on the Grill!

Image
Hello!  It's Lorrie here today to share another "Taco Tuesday" which mean another recipe and, not really Tacos at all! Enter Breakfast on the grill.  To be a little more specific - BREAKFAST PIZZA! It's so amazing and a lot of fun!  (Don't mind my wonky shaped crust, it's not as easy as it looks to keep it round on the grill... just sayin') But we loved it just the same! This was a lot of fun and pretty simple, I can't wait to try traditional pizza on the grill.  This was a pizza made with pizza dough, eggs, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, bacon, chives and flat leaf parsley.  It was really good.  As we were eating we were concocting a million possibilities... tomato, arugula, mozz, spinach, sausage... the possibilities are endless.  The recipe follows: Preheat Grill 1/2 grill on High and 1/2 on Medium 1 Pizza Dough (For convenience sake I used a Betty Crocker Pizza Dough Box mix) 1 C Shredded Mozzarella 1/4 C Parmesan 7 strips cooked ba...
